When I was a kid, people nicknamed me "Pollyanna" because I consistently focused on what I considered “the positive.” But over time, I came to realize that I was sacrificing my authenticity to maintain this positive front.
I was afraid of rocking the boat -- I always wanted to be seen in the highest golden light. Underneath that big smile, I was not being completely honest with myself and others about what was going on within me.
These days, I work to counter my resistance to expressing my truth, even if that means being willing to risk confrontation. Expressing my own needs and standing up for those with no voice doesn’t come easy for me. That’s why I adore the spiritual superhero goddess Kali. She inspires me to stand strong in my truth, even when it’s uncomfortable to do so. Chanting the empowering mantra “Chamundayei, Kali Ma, Kali Ma, Kali Ma” ignites the courage to face my fears. It creates awareness around these uncomfortable feelings and calls in higher vibrational support to face them. 🔥
Recently, my friend Crystal gifted me a statue of Kali. The beautiful goddess icon sits on my bedside table, where she resolutely urges me to stand tall in my truth. I encourage you to call out to your inner Kali with this powerful mantra. We may not be able to control what happens in our outside world, but we do have the power to change our inner world -- which makes all the difference in how we experience the miracle of our life!
I am very excited to share with you my latest release!
The music was created by myself and Benj Clarke, and features mystical violin accompaniment by Bethany Grace 🎻
We have also released the instrumental version, which makes for a wonderful "ambient music" listening experience, in itself. We all hope you enjoy this offering!
